Is it just me or has the mystery aspect of the manga been dropped and its just a romcom now (not that I'm complaining)?

There was never much mystery to it, it was more of a thriller/psychological, and yeah, this arc is almost like a break arc from that, but dunno if it'll continue with this direction up till the end
