When my cousins were kids, 7-Eleven was actually only open for those hours; from 7am-11pm.
There was even a Dozens joke saying:
"Yo Mama so stupid, she call 7-Eleven to ask when they open."

That is an old callback, cos 7-Eleven been 24hrs for my whole-ass life.
