Yeah it's like solid opening of "used to draw manga, got bullied to the point of having PTSD about it", but the "school queen wanting to help me draw again and also she's in love with me" is too much. I can believe her being interested in him because he used to draw, but she's getting too close too quickly. The art is good, but the story is so immature that I believe the author wrote it while still in middle or, at most, high school, but only began to draw it later. Maybe the MC's situation has some kind of personal experience background (autobiographic), minus the hot girl suddenly paying so much attention to him. That part is probably wish fulfillment.
Because it's moving too fast. The only way to explain why she has such an interest in him at this point would be to reveal the fact she's an obsessed stalker or something, but to just meet for the first time in your life and suddenly pay attention to someone in great detail and want to help them get over their personal traumas is a bit much. You know for people who read manga, you all sure seem to have a problem with manga tropes.
… what is a ‘manga trope’ again, I only know of ‘tropes’, plus this stuff cringes me out more than a regular shoujo manga doesYou know for people who read manga, you all sure seem to have a problem with manga tropes.
