Fanfiction? Weirdly the most tame thing of the 3 honestly.

Anyways, it seems that the love platform has reached a straight line at this stage... how will it all connect?

Also TEMU Utena and Gyaruwu are making slow motion, I wonder when they'll get it all together?

Usui Shio keeps on the perfection strike.

Fairly interesting how Niji assumes Azuki must be a guy, but also gets understandably pissed when people online assume her writing must be a guy's. Granted, I'm not sure this comparison is quite the point, as it seems to me there's a fairly obvious, different point.

The ice cream pay-off was also pretty nice: we now know why exactly she acted weird and made shit up. And oh my, the panels twisting as Niji's mind does… this is just so good, I love every moment of it! I already need to read the next chapter!

I interpreted the last page as Remu leaning on Komugi for a bit of comfort and solidarity, not necessarily that she likes her in particular.
There's also her reaction to the yearbook photos. Idk if we can go as far as to say that she's in love, but I think it's pretty clear that Remu is fond of Azuki more than as just a doll maker at this point.

1. Remu may never feel sexually attracted to another person but it doesn’t mean she can’t feel romantically attracted. This page here tells me everything I need to know, the seed has been planted. 50/50 for the endgame to be besties or lovers.

2. Sudden background story for her friend. Writing fanfiction based on your crush is dubious, so at least change the character names so you don’t mistake stuff with reality, girl.

She’ll definitely stalk Remu and find her in the karaoke booth being touched by Azuki, won’t she? The girl needs serious therapy.

3. Why do her friends insist it’s a boy when Remu said it was an older woman? But then again in japanese it could have been ambiguous and they assumed it’s an older man because god forbid she “only wants to befriend her senpai at work” or she’s just gay (she is, we never saw her talking about male dolls, only female. That’s a lesbian, your honor).

Female mangaka be like

In all seriousness this post hit a nerve in the sense that the fanfic is pure delusion, and the Remu in there doesn't really exist.

Niji already knows it's a woman Remu's getting involved with as per chapter 3, so having a man as her "rival" in her story seems to be a deliberate change. Now I just want to know why she's doing that.

Given how gendered language is translated, it's hard to say how much was gendered in Japanese. "That girl" was probably gendered, I guess? It's entirely possible she's making a change for her fanfic, but it doesn't quite strike me that way. She seems to want to keep things real, enough to confuse them with reality, so I'm honestly more inclined to believe she was just matching her words to what Remu was saying (basically, something along the lines of "sure, sure, she's a girl, not a guy, yeah, I totally believe you") - or, again, it could have simply been gender-neutral in the raws but the translators figured this translation was fine.

Not gonna die on this hill, but it seems reasonable to me that as of this point, Niji thinks Azuki is a man.

The way she just happened to "guess" Komugi's age makes me wonder if she actually knows a lot more than she's letting on, but I also wouldn't rule out a translation quirk just yet. Might not be a bad idea to ask GoggledAnon for clarification at some point.
