I don't get why he gave up though, with the power he has, he can try again Subaru style. He should be able to find to find a way to convince her to stop using that ability. Also why the frick was he being a neet, if he was trying to help her the whole time. Not exactly an effective strategy lol.
Also what's Anzai's actual deal? Was she really her friend or not? Lol, am guessing she was being a tsundere when she said to her friend she was only using MC. Though knowing what this series is, it could also be true.

Well, in the sequel not everyone can see the numbers. I guess the author realised that them being able to see them would create some issues so that's been retconned.
