he showed her the numbers on his chest in order to prove that he also has a power, so how come the numbers on her chest were never mentioned once by either of them while he was lending her a helping hand and her chest was exposed? i mean he already knows and thats why he might have not asked on purpose but what about the 1st time it happened? before he get his power and learn of hers? or shouldnt she at least wonder why he doesnt ask? or keep it covered from him so he wont suspect something?

are you referring for the 1st time it happened? when he was still without his power and he did not know?? well that kind of explains it but still things look like they go downhill just for the sake of it. What about her? Shouldn't she see his numbers? I mean they did see each other naked. sorry if i am missing something there it's been a while since i read this

If she hadn't been enticed (there is a better word, but I have no idea how to spell it) in the way she was then I do not believe it would have turned out the way it did. I.e. if she'd been completely left alone after getting the power the ending would have been different.

I think I enjoyed this more compared to the sequel. The character development is better and the side characters seem more fleshed out. Love that the friend sells his soul to save the girl and the tragedy of them repeating the loop forever.
