So she comes into a bunch of secretive, paranoid, faction-ridden people after someone unknown tries to kill the guy and says "Don't ask any questions, I can save him, trust me!" Yeah, I'm sure that's going to stick real good.

One person is missing from the character info pages: Rolan, Veronica's other brother. Granted, we don't know much about him yet, but Alois is mentioned despite the similar lack of info. I wonder if the author has any grand plan for him.
Coming back to this chapter, who could be potentially behind the attack? Whose characters we never got to see inner thought/perspective? Someone I doubt the servants, especially the two guys because their past lives are never shown.

@Purplelibraryguy you describe Hiroki there lol. Luckily, Minami and his group are less of chaotic mess...
I'd say if Minami has any flaws, it definitely would be "trusting too much". Once he let someone inside his inner circle, he's willing to bet his faith on that person. This was Veronica's trait as well... and even thought Veronica learned her lesson in hard way, it seems that Minami is still prone to believing in others, but with a bit more tendency to doubt people around him and preparing back-up plans in case of...
Nonetheless, he just spend a night in a hospital because Yamada wanted to kill him and he was just released from it. And the same Yamada is now willing to help, no questions asked... duh.
But the other option is calling an ambulance and using "plan B" which I imagine, is full of drawbacks.
@youdontknowwho the ones who were in charge of the kingdoms were strictly behind this war. Alois -- we address him "the crown prince of Zerestria" but Zerestria's king died few years prior, so he was probably already Zerestria's king (also Rolan was older than him, so he should be first to the throne, but he resign and let his younger brother be the crown prince... we still don't know anything about it). Moswick situation was different as there was an active on-going battle for the throne between Evan and Ishmael.
As for servants, yes, I doubt Kikuchi a lot. We saw some inner thoughts of Hino and he seemed like timid guy who wants nothing to do with it.

Minami and his group is too trusting to anyone who enter their inner circle, they didn't expect a betrayal or other hidden motives from them. He perhaps already check their credibility and decide to trust them, or that he have backup plans if someone betray him.

I also want for someone to die but after that it will be a full blown war since all restraint is released, more madness and division but also interesting to see their past conflict and war continued here in truest sense. Wonder if Kumeta willing to go that far.

okay so from the chapter before we know the mastermind (lets call him MM) left a letter to give orders. from that we have
A) he is still controlling a small group of potential traitors
B) he left the letter on purpose either to get the prince out which is most likely the positive answer. But from all the cliffhanger of this manga there is no way this is that simple
MM probably trying to lure Zeze in remembering the spell. Hell I'm sure he already know who the prince is!
I wonder though if there really is a MM. I mean we had all this Holly spirit prophecy. what if someone isn't acting on his free will ? what if they are controlled without noticing. if thats the case no one is the traitor that's why they can't find him because all of them can "loose it" for a bit
Also Minami said they won't kill him in this chapter (since his blood is precious) but did he forgot that Lucas tried to kill Veronica in the past ?
