Love seeing Veronica’s family again. In contrast to the noble families of Belbania and Alphard, I honestly love the Zerestrian Royals. Rolan seems so kind and caring for his sister. He is looking out for her and seems to want to shelter her, but also speaks frankly about the truth of their situation. Kalervo also seems to be frank, wise, and intelligent (No way he wasn’t assassinated).

“You may adore someone but end up being their enemy…” God just make it hurt more why don’t you. When Veronica learns people died and thinks about Eugene… the pain in her eyes… I definitely think she was already in love with him and just didn’t know/understand it.

Also, I know that Veronica is said to be too kind at times, but it really works in her favor here. She immediately is suspicious of the Moswick servants, but despite this, logically reasons out the situation and decides they must be uninvolved. She's upfront with them and this saves precious time in a desperate situation. This contrasts so much with Glen who was so suspicious and careful with the Moswick personnel, he missed so many opportunities to change the outcome.
