Hehe you're welcome. When we were running quick quality check, Perley kept saying that Eugene looks so HOT 🥵 And this meme happened...

Eugene's personal magic requires a tad bit of umbilical cord (not neccessarily his own), he carries it in one of many pockets on his belt, like everyone else do. And he surely anticipated he may use his personal magic, so he surely had it prepared beforehand. The same goes for Calvin, he must've been prepared too in case he needs to use lethal magic. And various spells require various offerings; saliva, blood, hair etc.

The soldiers probably have strips of fabric with blood on them or cuts on their fingers, as we've seen in past chapters that the knights/squires have offering pouches handy, or will cut themselves for fresh blood for their spells.

4 volumes is crazy. I do enjoy the backstory and slow burn, but it feels like nothing is moving for a couple chapters now.

Outside of getting more details of events we already know, was there anything actually new revealed from this interrogation? Having Haruki being revealed as Glen to another person is the only thing that comes to mind.
