As I recall, MC did try talking (an early chapter, maybe around oppai-san) but he found it odd the humans did not understand before realising his talking sounded like growling to them.

how can he? everytime he meets someone they started screaming and/or attack him immediately. i mean what would you do if you meet something vaguely humanoid came out of nowhere in the forest.

i have only been charged by overly aggressive spiders, swans, cats, dogs, deers and cows so far. humanoid would be a development. fighting is an option i chose when they sunk their teeth in my arms, legs or throat. or when they wouldnt stop ramming me in the spine and face.

EDIT: thats not something i consider funny. i had to kill multiple of these animals by hand without the chance of a different outcome. my flesh getting ripped was an experience i would have liked to abstain from.

Spoiler: Whether something is done with the language barrier

After a few events with the adventurers, protag ends up going to the elf village and is then "captured" by an elf with an enslavement spell, this allows him to learn the language of the elves over time, which he then uses to learn the common language iirc. He also just escapes the enslavement at a certain point, which is around when i stopped reading the webnovel cause it's a bit slow (a lot of meandering to look at boobs and whatnot lol)

Spoiler: Regarding Elf Village

Apparently, two Elf that he love to peek will be crucial later on. Number 6 is prominent figure who help protag in the future, no 8 is just......dumb, she really like emphasize her model figure
