@mikegnesium I believe your comment is interesting so I wish you regain your interest in this conversation but it's fine if you don't, it's a depressing topic after all and we are here to enjoy some good time. If I bother you too much don't hesitate to block me.
I won't say I got the universal truth, I know I don't. I just lived in Tokyo between 2014-2016 for work so what I'm saying is coming from my sole experience and not some kind of study. It's merely my point of view.
I admit it, I was just being aggressive in order to show how absurd this manga is, I exaggerated about the "average life of a Japanese worker" being "pressured and cornered to the point to hang himself", it's a minority who are concerned and it's already too many people. The majority are still corned with pressure and this is mainly due to how a salaryman is tied with his work. Basically, a work in Japan gives you access to a lot of advantages like insurance, housing, loan and even prestigious school for their kids, it's making you unable to leave your work and getting pressured from it.
And ... well, this topic is depressing so I'll stop it and enjoy some nice manga.
If you guys got an offer to work in Japan, go for it, it's a marvelous experience, just try to not be too much tied with it or aim for an international enterprise, they generally got better work condition.
