That is some very slow working poison. Enough time for her to be sold, carried to the apothecary’s house, treated for a bit, get dentures made, eat, then finally start showing symptoms of the poisoning. At that rate, the poison should pretty much already be out of her system.

i speculate the poison is timed with magic circle to release after certain amount of time or the master just released the magic circle.

I believe the poison kicking in at this timing is a metaphor for Rezurre's mental health. As we ALL know (yes, YOU TOO), when it comes to recovering from severe mental health crises, it gets worse before it gets better. Even though it's unrealistic for the poison to only kick in now instead of much earlier, it could be seen as a metaphor for Rezurre finally feeling the effects of the long-term abuse she's been suffering now that she isn't totally numb.
