We're getting pretty close to where the original decided speed up things and wrap up.
With the current pace, even if the author decides to develop the last section more, the story would likely be done in a dozen chapters or so.

I wonder if they'll expand the story outside the scope of the original and then keep going, or just improve the (very rushed) original ending but keep it mostly the same.

I know that there's source material, but having not seen that -
I just really hope there's no "danger" to either of them in this series, and that all of the Bad Shit is fully behind them and it's just a "healing story" of the Apothecary and Reszurre helping one another heal and mend their body, heart and soul.
Thus far it's been that way, and even with her sister showing up, I can't imagine it'll turn violent (though I expect a misunderstanding, but that Reszurre will set things straight very quickly).
But...just no more bad people coming after them, or anything like that, type thing.

But the story of them healing in one another thus far is lovely, and the artwork has been quite good, so.

Grateful for the TL work thus far.
