I got good news! I was wrong. For this final volume, it was decided to add 1 extra chapter for the finale.

Considering how his previous love was taboo and impossible, the fact that his new love is already his wife seems like easy mode now

The drama is so good 😋 give me more angst... as long as the sister doesn't realize they've been hurt by misunderstandings based on her lol poor girl doesn't need to be involved and worried in her last few moments

Update: Okay i really have no idea what's going on with the manga schedule anymore or whether it's going to end at vol 3.
So I made a reasonable assumption that it would end at vol 3 due to this official statement saying the manga will end this year here ( I had estimated that vol 3 would have come out mid year) :

And at the release rate of 1 chapter every 2 months, and the mangaka saying the climax is ch15+16 and how they speedrun a lot of things in vol 3 manga, I had reasonably assumed it would finish in vol 3 as there's no way there would be another vol since 1 novel vol can usually only stretch up to 3 vol of manga at most(some mangas finish it in only 2) and ch 16 is a good ending point with very little going on past that that could be stretched out to fill vol 4 (unless they put some major manga fillers) and no way they could fit another 5 chapters for vol 4 within this year.

The way they condensed a lot of scenes in vol 3 manga, I don't know how they'd have enough material to do another volume because as I said, there's not a lot going on past that.
And let's say ch16 gets chucked into vol 4, it's been 2 months since ch15. There should at least have been an announcement for vol 3 manga reservation by now🤔
I really don't know anymore😂 Guess we'll all just have to wait for more info. Ch16 comes out 11/7 by the way. And if there really is a vol4 we'll have to wait for, my vol 3 release schedule for this manga will be stretched out to bimonthly in tandem with the raw release. Beats having you guys wait 5-6 months for the next chapter like you're currently doing, right?

The mangaka said that he doesn't know for sure when vol 3 will be released but it will most likely have a release date of next year or the next, seeing as vol 3 also contains the last chapter that has also been rescheduled to next year.
Keep in mind that both vol 1&2 have 5 chapters per volume and the tentative vol 3 already has the required subsequent 5 chapters already published.
This post here also says he expects ch 17 to have a release date of mid September here
