Ugh... a few things really bugged me here...

Couldn't this kid wash herself? And if she couldn't, and the lady thinks this bloke is the girl's father, wouldn't that put him in a better position for helping out than the lady, who is a complete stranger? Sharing a gender doesn't automatically mean she can be trusted with the kid's wellbeing. Fuckin weird Japanese bathing culture taints this horseshit in all sorts of manga.

Oh yeah... and the haircut. I think the american tendency to refer to the fringe as "bangs" is one of the more grotesque and unpleasant americanisms out there. I've no clue how they started calling it that, but it sounds all wrong.
All the same, that haircut doesn't really look right on someone who doesn't have black hair. And even for an Asian it is a bit of a niche look. Trimmed fringes are just a bit iffy. Better to clip it aside.

The ring... where to even start?
I thought the implication was that the girl had been the monster that killed the hero's parents.... but.... how the hell did the protagonist conclude that the hero had personally cursed him? That hero guy was a swordsman, wasn't he? It doesn't make sense.

Leather shoes would definitely be better than wooden clogs... at least as long as it is soft on the inside. Otherwise both are questionable options.

Oh yeah, and that looked like a chapel rather than a church.

He must have thought it was the hero because the ring was his. If the girl, as a fenrir, had killed the hero's parents and gotten the ring from there, the hero wouldn't have been able to show it to the mc.
Another point to question would be the time sequence. Did the girl age while she was a fenrir? She's still young anyway, much younger than the hero. If the hero's parents were killed when he was a kid, did the little girl even exist then?

Yeah i was also thinking leather would have been better for the condition of "wouldn't hurt much even after walking for a long time".
And yeah, if she wanted a comfortable haircut, why not just cut it short. Easier to mantain, especially if they're going to travel and can't exactly mantain a healthy level of everyday hygiene. But oh well.
