Obviously he choose the skinny dude bc he's easily manipulated lol.
I really hope mc will never cure his hex and at the same time decapitated their heads and display them at the town hall while paying bards to tell the mass about their deeds. Meh, that's will never happen. Obviously mc will save them both bc that's just how pathetic mangaka these days. Haaa i hope i will become rich, rich enough to hire a mangaka to make a good manga both in art and story.

At the current point, they're on their way to Rabi's country, if I understand right. They want to know just what's going on in the country and what happened to Rabi in order to be prepared. We thus get a flashback. Rabi was originally called "Rabbit", as rabbits are seen as harbingers of disaster in that country. When she and her twin sister were born a huge disaster occurred from which the citizens were fortunately able to find protection. Since her sister could use magic while she could not, she was ostracized as the cause. After the only maid that'd treated her well was executed, Rabi tried to run. When she was captured she was transformed into a Fenrir and the princess (Rabi's sister) "placed a curse" on her that if she told anyone anything about her past she and the person she told would both die. She's terrified of this and thus can't speak. The possibility of a curse is brought up, but Douglas had dispelled her curse before and could find no additional curses, indicating that this was a psychological issue caused by the trauma. At the end we see a ship and a small girl who looks just like Rabi asking an older man when they'll reach "the next kingdom". The man tells her they'll be there soon and that it'll have a market where they can buy snacks if she waits patiently, and then calls her "Rabbit".

Just speculation, but I'm fairly certain that girl is the princess. Rabi had recalled that when she ran away as Fenrir she didn't see any of the prosperous kingdom she'd seen before; she doesn't specify more than that but the imagery makes it pretty clear disaster had struck. My guess is without a kingdom the princess left for elsewhere. For further speculation, I'm betting the princess is the real "Rabbit" that caused all the disasters. Could even be that she doesn't have magic of her own and is only faking it somehow. If she knew that she was the "rabbit" and Rabi was the truly rightful princess, it would certainly explain why she was so desperate to constantly keep her locked away and persecuted, as there would always be this threat that someone would find out and she herself would be imprisoned or executed.
