This really is such an amazing manga! I liked the anime, despite its flaws, but this trumps it all. Its truly a shame that the anime wasn't 1/10 of what the manga is. Now i just cant wait for it to catch up to the anime! Milie and Maria have a great dynamic - i burst out laughing when she clenched her cute ear
Its gonna be sad when Marie leaves 😢

Belgrieve knows some very powerful people lol
( wonder if elf heartthrob will return to story in person )
Yes. But unfortunately very far off in the story towards the end (there's a good reason for this thay's related to the overarching plot)

Was anyone else thinking Marie was fulfilling the housewife role when she was making dinner? Yeah, I know Bel has his past love, and Marie is only 18; its not like I'm expecting anything ofc, but I just had the thought of "housewife" seeing her in that apron, casually asking Bel to use his stuff and cooking dinner in his house.
More like the oldest daughter taking care of the singled father. The way she interact with the rest of Bel's kids once they meet in the city also gives the same atmosphere.
For all her tomboyish looks and tendencies, she's rather homely and good at taking care of others. Sadly she doesn't get as much focus compared to the rest of the kids.

Yes. Satie actually got involved with the experiments hoping to find a way to heal Bell's leg. (She loves him, and Bell is under the false impression that she loves Percival, the leader of the party when it was Bell all along)

The whole party fell apart mentally after Bell lost his leg and left.
Bell was always the one to look at the bigger picture, his role in party was very important despite not having the biggest combat strength and everyone in the party knew and appreciated him.
They just did job after job riddled with guilt and depression until they all just split up, though all 3 party members became S-rank.

If it wasnt obvious already, Bell lost his leg to a demon lord, it only gets 100% confirmed in the final volume.

The thing about the demon lords, they can either be implemented into human bodies, or items. Charlottes ring being one of those items.

One day Satie mysteriously found herself pregnant, she did everything she could to hide the child's existence.
She was able to "borrow" some ancient magic and gained the ability to teleport.
So when her baby was born, she immediately teleported to some random place out of nowhere within earshot of some random village and left the baby there hoping someone kind would pick her up, and bing bang boom who would have thought she actually teleported herself to Bell?!
True love prevails.

Anyways Angie is free from demon lord ego due to Satie's elf heritage, apparently the elf magic negates the demon lord influence, its why Angie has human ears despite actually being half elf and why elf elixir was effective when Charlotte's ring went out of control.

The next arcs coming up are gonna be about Bell resolving his past and finding all his party members again.
He sets off to Orphen along with elf girl.
That dude in prison we saw in this chapter is Kasim, S-rank mage named Aether Buster and the youngest member of the past party.

He's been involved in dubious activities because depresso over Bell. Then stuff happens and Kasim and Angie find themselves going head to head.
Its then revealed that Angie is Belgrieve's daughter and Kasim is all like "Hol up, say what??" And does a complete 180 and sides with Angie.
Then they go meet Bel and happy reunion.

Essentially, Angie ends up being the one who meets all the party members first, and is the one who helps them meet with Bell again.

So what happens after Kasim's arc is they go back to Toneria to chill for a bit.

Mit needs some special monster ingredients to stabilize himself, so Bell, Angie, Kasim and co go to a faraway valley riddled with monsters where it so happens they hear is also where Percival is.
Graham also lets Bell borrow his holy sword for the adventure. It accepts Bell as a wielder, though he can't hear its voice and Graham and Angie can.

Percical has basically exiled himself and shut away his heart to simply fight strong monsters day after day due to his immense guilt (Bell was the one who pushed Percival out of the way and that ended up with his leg getting chomped off)

One thing about Percy, he has huge coughing fits, the only thing that gives him relief is a satchel of herbs that Bell gave him so long ago

Stuff happens, Percical is edgy and stubborn, they get into a fist fight and make up.

Percival joins the party (he's fucking op) and they set off to find Satie at the capital city.

Now Satie arc. Here they come to head against the organization doing demon lord experiments. Satie has been fighting them for years, rescuing innocent people undergoing experiments, though they never live long so Satie sad.

Satie has been taking care of two child like demon lord existences (Like Mit) The organization finds and captures her.

Angie gets captured too and taken to some kind of spacial dimension that acts as a prison, here she encounters Satie and they work together and bust themselves out.

Big fight ensues, organization loses, big bad guy gets away...?

During downtime after, Satie reveals to Bell she was experimented on and that resulted in a baby and how she feels bad about letting the baby go, though it was to protect her.

Bell puts two and two together and tells Satie that he's the one who found her daughter.

Satie is so happy, and that basically confirms their love for each other.

Angie finally has a mom now (lol) and they get along splendidly.

Satie takes everyone back to Toneria with one last big teleport and happy slice of life ensues.

Eventually Graham figures that Mit can basically act as a dungeon core, so they can create a dungeon and that will regulate Mit's power.

With this knowledge, Toneria figures that a guild should open up to help manage the dungeon, and Bell is recommended to be the guildmaster.

Kasim plans to leave to meet up with his loved one (there was a whole thing with her in Kasim's arc), Percival plans to leave to find the beast that took Bell's leg (for closure, while Percy has recovered, he still can't rest until the beast is gone), and Satie gets married to Bell.

Everything is looking up.

Until the final volume.

While Angie is in Orphen, she encounters the big bad in disguise, and he does something to Angie that gives her horrible nightmares. They're basically flashbacks to Bell, Kasim, Percy, and Satie's tragedies, and they're really horrible. Angie can never remember them when she wakes up but it's taking a toll on her mental state cause she can never get good sleep. Eventually party members decide that going back to Toneria and meeting with Bell again will help her.

So they finally get to Toneria, but the big bad shows up where everyone (except bell) is gathered.

Here the big bad reveals something absolutely nuts but makes complete sense.

So we know Angie's being came from a demon lord, and we know the big bad has been collecting demon lords for the experiments, so where did Angie's demon lord come from?

It's revealed that the beast that took Bell's leg was a demon lord, and Angie came to being FROM that demon lord.

This revelation breaks Angie, causes her to go berserk and open some kind of portal. Big bad takes himself and Angie into it.

Bell finally arrives and everyone else is distraught from the revelation, Bell assures everyone that Angie is simply Angie, and goes in to rescue her.

Bell walks aimlessly in darkness and encounters the big bad, who reveals this was his plan, to distress Angie so much she would create this portal.
So bell reluctantly walks with big bad until he encounters a man in front of a tree. This man is revealed to be Solomon.

Big bad asks Solomon to take him to some kind of higher dimension so he can acquire all knowledge, Solomon mocks him as this dimension will simply break up his entire existence, but he does it anyways.

So that's it. Big bad gets exactly what he wants, but his existence just fades away. Whatever I guess.

Bell tells Solomon he's simply here to pick up his daughter, and Solomon sends him off with his blessing.

Bell finds Angie, they fight for a bit and Angie simply wants to be left here to suffer as she blames herself for all the tragedy that occurred to Bell and the party, but Bell tells her she's not that demon lord but simply Angie, and that she gave him so much happiness. They make up and leave, and are welcomed back by all their friends.

Happy end.

Kasim probably finds his lover, and has her move with him to toneria.

Percival doesn't need to find the beast anymore so he probably retires to Toneria as well (the air is really good for his coughing)

Satie is very happy with her big family (Mit, Charlotte, Byaku, her two twins she was looking after, and her daughter Angie along with her wonderful husband Bell)

After travelling around to find Bel's party, it opens Angie's mind and she wants to travel the world with her party (she's very interested in a sword like Graham's holy sword) though she says she will definitely visit Toneria often.

Series end with Bel and Angie picking Angie's favorite berries together.
A right leg for a cute, spoiled daughter? Yesssir!

Also, Char really slapped his forehead, and he took it just like that, huh.
