Father like Daughter both trying to recruiting new family members also still surprised that they ignored the fact the kid killed ppl
They don't though. Well, Angie haven't (as we haven't seen Bel interact with the girl again).
Angie specifically wanted to take Char and Byak back to Bordeaux for them to make proper apology of what had transpired (I feel like it shouldn't be just an apology, but well). As of right now, it seems she is very excited to expand the family tree and, just like Bel, she doesn't feel right killing something that shows no resistance (which was Byaku back in ch. 27).

So much for Rosetta's wife candidacy. Even if she survives, she proved how stupid she is. Trying to make excuses for evil perpetrated by the church she represents to the person who suffered from it. Dumb move, very dumb.

I despised the way this chapter degraded into forced piety. The first half was cute though. :3

To be fair, logic or an argument isn't what she needs. Her criticism is in the hypocrisy of other religious figures. No logic or words would work because the problem is that they didn't follow their own logic or words. She needs to see them commit to their beliefs, which can only be proven with some kind of sacrifice. After all, people can say whatever they want until it costs them.
Well no. The priest wants her to pray so that she’ll have a better life from the circumstances she finds herself in. Why would it work for her if it didn’t for her parents. Or is the implication that them dying is the better option since she now has a great life ahead of her?
