I read that last year the manpower ministry sent out a directive (see Circular No. M/6/HK.04/V/2025) targeting discriminatory hiring based on looks, age and height.
So either that was a fucking waste of time and/or companies are blatantly ignoring the ministry directive.
Can you sue them in that case or is that not feasible?
Nevermind, I just read a report on the efficacy of the directive and the problem is that is it not legally binding, so huge waste of time then.
