Good to see that Fuwa was indeed not going all out lol

I like where this is going, Akita will crash and burn to raise like a phoenix.

Still pulling to see my boi Ikushima's redemption arc though😤

Surprisingly chill chapter. MMA champ was pretty cool that he lost to Rikudou in the end. It actually benefited him as he took his defeat as a lesson to become even stronger in the ring.

So now we're doing underground fighting? Now this is what I expected to see in this manga! Akita needs to master the calf kick to at least have a chance against some of his opponents. Good luck, dude.

So the next arc is a reenactment of 1988's Bloodsport, except it's nerdy-boy-who-I-can't-even-remember-his-name competing because it's been established that Rikudou is not going to lose to anyone (except nerdy boy, most likely).

Eh, can't say I'm excited about it.

Oh he gonna wake up in a wheelchair, rip
He's cooked... pour one out for our boy
bro is going to die
Akita you're not that guy, pal. Trust me, you're not that guy....

Damn, talk about no faith for our boy, lol.

I don't expect Akita to win the entire tournament but he should be able to beat some low level thugs by abusing the calf kick and maybe stand a chance against some semi-experienced fighters if he goes all-out/wild.

But anyone more experienced, oh yeah, Akita is leaving the arena in a stretcher.
