it's just high risk, high reward, you get a big impact but it's not an automatic anti-wrestling tool because as Setsuna says if you don't instantly KO the other guy or at least badly hurt him you're not in a position to stop the takedown

Exactly, the Masvidal incident was an extremely unlikely event that he wasn’t able to recreate against most other wrestlers. So using that outlier isn’t exactly a solid argument. Especially when objectively speaking there are better higher percentage options
