I don't even think that, I think it would be unexpected but it just means that we now have to introduce a whole new villain as we climb the top 10.I like how everyone agrees that Watanabe winning would be more interesting plot-wise.
iirc the only way to be actually eliminated is to die (or maybe it's possible to quit, but you might have to at least leave the city until the tournament's over to make sure no one tries to fight you anyway). losing a fight only impacts your ranking.Someone remind me of the tournament rules. Gramps did lose to our MC before but he is still in, rather high ranked too? What needs to happen for someone to be actually out?
That being said, it'd be fun if Gramps just won here.
Probably something lost in translation like the term 'Dojo Smasher'.I wonder why he lied and said it had been stolen
I don't, it'd just mean all the time spent introducing that bad guy was wasted.I like how everyone agrees that Watanabe winning would be more interesting plot-wise.
He's been fighting on live TV for weeks now.and since when his daughter know he's strong
It wouldn't be wasted, Watanabe is a skilled and high ranking fighter. It's not like it'll ruin the villain. Besides the MC still has to fight the villain regardless cause no elimination rules.I don't, it'd just mean all the time spent introducing that bad guy was wasted.
First of all there's already a lingering villain in the series that we haven't seen in like +10 chapters with the Loli. Probably Rank 1 or top 3. Second why would we introduce a new villain. It won't change the story. MC is still gonna fight the guy regardless.I don't even think that, I think it would be unexpected but it just means that we now have to introduce a whole new villain as we climb the top 10.
It would waste the villain and make him a non-threat before the MC even faced him.It wouldn't be wasted, Watanabe is a skilled and high ranking fighter. It's not like it'll ruin the villain. Besides the MC still has to fight the villain regardless cause no elimination rules.
Because who cares about the MC fighting a guy weaker than the guy he already defeated?MC is still gonna fight the guy regardless.
Is that what you say about Grimmjow? Madara? Yoshikage Kira? You know villains who also lost pre final fights? It would waste the villain and make him a non-threat before the MC even faced him.
