The saddest part is, this isn't even that unbelievable as far as cults go.

Damn, the horror plot reveal was good, just as it was in the mangaka's previous (and still ongoing) series, Kaya-chan Isn't Scary. But the character writing and chapter-to-chapter stories weren't as compelling as in Kaya-chan Isn't Scary. Still sad to see this series end so soon, and I hope Useless Evil Spirit Anko-chan is more successful.
