Has anyone else noticed what they keep calling a town is actually a city, and that it's actually a nicer place than maybe 95% of the world? It's got solid schools (plural), minimal street crime, plenty of shopping and commuting options, employment for anyone who wants it... and far from being a tiny den of inescapable gossip, it's so big that locals with scandals can walk around unnoticed for months at a time?

The town isn't that bad, just old. The true hell hole is the family.
