MC is feeling like such a scumbag in these latest chapters. Smh, he promised Haru his confession first , but moment Oriana brings up Polygamy he becomes indecisive?

(which even if she isn’t my favorite she did not deserve to be slighted in that way)

Then there’s his creepy stalking and obsession with Shio even though he hasn’t confessed to her.

As well as just brushing off all of Runako’s feelings for him without ever giving a clear answer. Leading to Runako having to baby his emotions and constantly having to project her own feelings. Like the disrespect to be thinking of choosing between the other girls instead of actually trying to spend time with Runako after her MONTH long trip is actually disgustingly inconsiderate.

The only forgivable one is Akari but thats just because she’s a hyper tsun who can’t confess

Its sad cause I liked MC early on but the unnecessary padding has just demolished his character.
the mc is a true gentleman. i will not sit idle while you bad mouth this saint. this year i learned, being an mc in a harem manga is pain (i forgot which manga made me feel this way lol). as it was explained it, you are going to hurt the ones who don't win. he cares about all of them. the harem route may not be the most romantic route, but if you were in a situation where you could make all of them happy, why not do it? sure, you can accuse him of having his cake and eating it too, but put yourself in his shoes. do you honestly think being in a relationship with all those women at once would be an easy task? hell, i can't handle one, and I have been with for over a decade now, but when she is in a foul mood everyone suffers. mc has to deal with 5 of them at once. trust me, if you haven't been in a relationship, it's fucking rough dealing with women sometimes. so while some may perceive him a lustful beast, i see the humanity past his drawn eyes. i will see my way out now.

Fair enough. Tbh my comment was very hyperbolic in MCs issues.

Though I do still feel he was absolutely wrong for going back on his promise with Haru and stalking Shio and most of the heroines also want him to choose SOMEONE rather than choose all of them. Big examples being Haru and Runako. Only exception I guess is Oriana who feels very much like a comedic plot device

Plus I just feel really upset at how far this is getting dragged 😭

MC is feeling like such a scumbag...
Haru's request to wait a year is very selfish. It is not as if she has been drafted into military service. She is just a little bit busy, and it would be more convenient for her if she didn't have to make time for him. If track and field is more important to her than Eiyuu, then I see no reason he needs stay single.

As for Runako, he did ask about her trip. She is the one who steered the conversation to what she wanted to talk about. Eiyuu even tried not to talk about his feelings for other girls, but she skillfully dragged it out of him.

Yeah most of it is just me mad at the lack of progress.

But quite frankly he agreed to a promise with Haru and then broke it. He is at fault for it and Haru brought up with him beforehand so I don’t see why she is so selfish for doing this that they both agreed to.

And Runako didn’t intentionally steer the conversation anywhere. She just noticed his thoughts. Though I was definitely way too harsh on him for his emotional immaturity and I agree he did atleast ask about and talk to Runako. Though I guess my problem is that its barely addressed in favor of more choosing drama between the girls.

Overall, I can’t say I like MC but He isn’t nearly as horrible as I make him out to be and my problems are moreso with the way the plot is progressing.
