I know I'm a degenerate, the worst of the worse, but Jesus H. Christ, what a fucking horrible disgusting person her uncle is. It's fictional, but Mao's a piece of shit whose name perfectly fits him (though I think the spelling could be different from "Maou," [魔王].)

Wow. Mao came into her life just to absolutely ruin her. Blame her for her parents death and then sell her into child prostitution and then abandon her when something better came along… Jesus

This was the only unnecessary backstory, it just introduced irredeemable character for no reason other then to hate him.
I don't think this manga had purely evil character before, everyone had some kind of trauma that led them to the actions they did, this felt like a deliberate mindbreak for fun and profit and profit he did.
