NEVER END A RELATIONSHIP IN A CAR.

Someone I know learned this lesson the hard way about a decade ago.

At a class reunion, he found out that his GF had cheated on him a few years prior when one of her girl friends blurted it out. To avoid a scene, they decided to leave and talk at home, but on the drive back, he told her the relationship was over.

Things blew up into a full argument, and in her panic, she started hitting him. He lost control of the car, and they crashed.
He ended up losing an eye and some mobility in one arm, and she had a below-the-knee amputation in one of her legs.

So, a story about assault (and in a setting where that led to extreme injuries).
At least it was not Domestic Violence, since they had already broken up.

Wonder how long her jailtime ended up as.

I think that kinda violence would be pretty
bad whether it's labeled as 'domestic' or not since it's still a form of assault either way unless assault between 'strangers' is a harsher punishment than 'domestic' violence but if it's known that they're exes i can imagine it coming up in a court case or so, sucky if there's any kids involved in a custody battle

It's not recommended to "emotionally agitate" the driver in ANY way... and if you are the driver, stop the car and take a five
Yeah you'd think there'd be more kids respectful on the bus and so but i wouldn't be surprised if some ppl were fighting as students while being in a moving vehicle

Under the circumstances, where it was an awful situation for both of them, it ended in NO jail time, lol. But to clarify, I'm not from the USA but rather from a certain shitty third-world country, and where I used to live was such a place that I know of cases where the local police wouldn't even take seriously cases of male teenagers being assaulted by their female teachers, so... :haa:

Only if you have relationship first...I don't have one...
Doesn't mean you can't still piss off ur parents /other ppl who you get a ride from lol (although not saying it's right but surprised there aren't more charas where ppl are willing to be risky to get their kids to 'behave' versus "don't make me turn this car around")

my dad once got into an argument with a previous gf while he was driving, and she tried to leap out of the car. He dragged her back in, pulled over on the side of the highway, and said "okay, NOW you can gtfo", then just drove away and left her there. And that is the very last time he ever saw her
