on the TL Note regarding the bookstore lady's husband saying "Don't tell me, i'm a government official"
because the married couple are under the impression of mari is a minor,
and they looked closer to couple than friends/cousins also i think they know they live together.
cohabitation between a older guy and a minor(girl) is kind of illegal.
i think it's along the line of he's under vow and ethically have to report if he know there is some funny business.
plus he's in the neighborhood association/relation. which i think does directly have responsibility to report that.
so he's saying that to indicate its better if he don't know and turn a blind eye for this one.
