Thanks for TLing this, would have never found it otherwise. I think the story is decently paced but I can't get over that step-sister and how horrible she is. I sort of wonder if they couldn't have had the step-mom survive, although probably broken. Aside from using magic to get together with the father, she seemed rather nice to MC and deserved better. At the very least seeing a proper burial or bringing her remains to her hometown would have been nice to see. Just going to assume it happened off camera. Shout-out to the Aunty, she is a wonderful.
