Yes, indeed interesting! There is a lot of room for character development (rarely heard of!), I will be keeping an eye on this to see how the MC & story develops. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint.

This seems to be a story of MC apologising and being forgiven easy despite initial resistance and disbelief. Romance feel forced as he gets worried of his engagement being cancelled while no communication or meet up with the fiancee until it is her turn for plot device in the chapter.
