You know, it's actually impressive how this series can portray antagonists as simultaneously horribly dangerous and genuinely stupid without seeming inconsistent. You never really question why these brutes are dangerous, but you also can see that most of them are just spoiled twats.

In a way it can be seen as a metaphor of the privilege and the social standing. In the previous world, they were all spoiled bastards from upper middle/lower upper class. In their new world, they are the chosen ones, gifted with the amazing and overwhelming powers. In the both worlds, they are foolish bastards who get away with their evil largely thanks to their power shielding them from consequences with only a few of the smarter ones being able to actually show some cunning.

Most likely it was a private school for the wealthy, and the MC managed to get accepted through good grades alone just before his parents died and his sister got sick. All the students are spoiled brats that got whatever they wanted from their absentee parents and their butler/maid who was paid to clean up after them.

Yeah, for a second I felt like the story missed a chapter or something, but then our guy just straight up told his enemy that he's bullshiting him. It was glorious reveal and a pretty clever use of outside world knowledge against them.

i don't doubt that, they have Yasuda who is the son of a politician, son of a doctor, son of a corrupt business owner the one who set up that app to date Hirota's sister, a model. I'm surprise that the MC kept staying in that school when all his classmates bully him, it would be hell if that situation happen in real life; an entire group of people bullying you.
