Huh it's not Saturday. I'm guessing the snipe/steal forced the early release.
Solid chapter as per. Haru getting some perspective on Souta's situation is good development. That's a leg up on Yuri already.
Speaking of which interesting to note Souta covered up mentioning only his mom to Yuri by covering and mentioning parents. So he's definitely trying to cover up the lack of having a paternal figure in his life at least to others and trying to portray he has a more "stable" family life to others than he actually does. Which means he's aware his home situation isn't ideal and is embarrassed by it rather than just passively accepting that it's alright.
I wonder if we'll ever get his thoughts about the lack of dad later on as things progress.

So 1 month has hapoened since Souta had that breakdown. I thought it was just a week.

Souta's ostracism is back to remind us why being poor is a stigma in Japan. If not for Yuri the yandere, people would still shittalking him at his back. Now that I remember, Yuri told him in Ch. 5 that if his classmates discovered he hangs out with a street slut, he'd be in serious trouble. Could it be a foreshadowing of what will happen to him when the series go back from the hiatus?? Besides, I can see a pattern here. Souta's lying to Yuri about his family situation and almost slipped out about him being singleparented. Could it be another foreshadowing?? Bc i'm aware singleparent families are really badly viewed there in Japan. Add that Soumom is the town's bike. It can be a recipe for an inevitable tragedy if his classmates know that, besides of being poor, he's associated with a supposed prostitute and is from a single mother family whose only adult is also a professional whore (and possibly an ex-JAV actress or gravure model if we go by the covers of the porn mags seen in Ch. 1).

Awwwww, looks like Haru cares for him, even if it's because of the money, at least she's getting uneasy after not seeing him after 1 month. If she misses him, then it's a goid signal. she shall stop being tsundere about being everything about money though. With knowing about the shitty life he has to endure, she actually has some type of advsntage, even though she hasn't seen him in 4 weeks.

Souta being uncomfortable around Yuri bc she enables his insecurities is also a good signal. Btw, i think he's more natural around his "hoe" (if she can be called that).

Btw, i was reading at mangakakalot comments about the MC simping to a rumoured "street whore". Now that i read the 12 chapters, iirc. Souta was just curious about that, and then he became attached bc Haru is the 1st human being who treats him like a human boy instead of a trophy or a memento. If something, Souta was simping to Yuri at the 1st chapter before he went to the bridge.

@GuitarLegend such a pain another chapter was stolen. 'Tis the 2nd time this shit happened. Are you gonna take actions?

@WhisCalifa69 yeah it sucks, well I got mostly good news! We don't know exactly who it was, we have some leads and sadly had to let a member go based on suspicions, I will take over the project again, meaning I will do basically most of the work hahaha but we will have a double release next week to be up to date with the raws and as a thank you for everyone who supported this upload instead of the illegitimate one, so yeah again sorry this happened twice, we didn't want to be all secretive and stuff even within our group, but it seems that is the only way to prevent this from happening AGAIN.

So yeah that's about it, looking forward to everyone's comments on the next 2 chapters!

@GuitarLegend we'll be waiting for that. There's a lot of good job into not only translating, but also adapting the dialogues so they can sound less robotic and literal and more natural.

Afaik, The raws will resume their publications by late-ish july (friday 24th weekend). Besides, the 2nd tankoubon will be on sale by the end of july. Maybe the hiatus is because of that.

I'm glad they didn't gloss over the fact he's still a pariah at school. I think once he starts seeing Haru again-which is inevitable at this, considering Yuri's yandere tendencies and the fact she's prone to jealousy, it probably means it's gonna escalate pretty badly for him.

Considering her stash of money and how she's desperately doing whatever she can to save up more, the fact even she considers the fact he's extremely poor is just an extra kick in the face, really. Curious how she'll respond to that, and how she'll respond to Yuri specifically.

On another note, it's ironic how she is shown to be proactive in High School, with her attending and apparently having friends. Another situation where she's ironically better off than MC is. I hope we see more of her school life and her friends in the future because I'm curious if they'll factor into this and try and help her and MC by proxy.

The mom immediately thought of putting toys in capsules? Haru had never seen what was inside the boxes, and the conversation between Souta and the deliveryman did not explain the job. The mom should've had no way of knowing the type of job unless "stay at home job" literally must mean putting toys in capsules.

That's just bad and convenient writing to move the plot along even though it makes no sense.
