I don't know, I think the characters here are pretty complicated. Like MC may seem dense, but there's a good reason for it, in that he's had limited interactions with people because of how poor he is and is more of a social pariah so has had the opportunity to understand people. It's not that he's stupid, he's just unaware because he was never given the same chances as everyone else.
Haru may seem like a bitchy teenager, but that's because she lives in a toxic home environment, and gets harassed by middle schoolers who think she's a prostitute, and so has a very dismissive facade to get them to leave her alone. Really she does open up to MC progressively more rand more as the story goes on.
I don't think it's fair to say that these characters are just cliched archetypes, because there definitely have some degree of depth to them and, as the story develops, we do see more of what shapes them. This chapter alone we got some insight into Haru's biological father and her thoughts/relations as to why she dislikes her stepfather so much and what she thinks of her original father
Though, I should also note Manhwas/Manhuas/Webtoons have their own issues...(My favorite is Suicide Boy but that hardly ever gets updated)

I established in an earlier chapter he makes less than your average sweatshop employee. His mom is keeping all the money he earns to pay for expenses
