@Richman @WhisCalifa69 Really I don't have much to analyze. Everything's coming to it's head. I will say that it's a bit contrived that Souta just so happened to see his mother at that exact time and place. Also the conflict between Haru's mom and dad I don't think will be properly resolved unless the author really knows what they're doing.


I wish we got more of an interaction between Haru and Yuri and that we got more development into Yuri after this interaction. Perhaps some more introspection into her character? That would be interesting

Though, I will say that the series was decently paced and that this is about where it should have ended ideally

I could see it ending in an open-ended or ambiguous manner, or that they both run away together with the money that Haru was saving up, leading to a final confrontation with Yuri

Damn...so only 2 more chapters to go. Not sure how well the story can be concluded like this, but let's hope for the best.
This would be the perfect time for Souta to snap, and after her encounter with Haru for Yuri to finally realize how much of a bitch she is. As for the mom, by the end she's either gonna snap out of what she's been doing or her mental state's gonna continue to go downhill further and further

I've seen high profile short drama manga with worse development before, especially the character building, title is "Dear Sa-chan".

This manga is good and actually have movie format, every characters are clearly written what is their true nature

I'm glad this is not milked too much like Koe no Katachi / A Silent Voice which add a long unnecessary filler chapter which is scrapped during making the movie or Seo Kouji's work which the story flow goes nowhere just to prolong the serialization. Even if this is axed, it is satisfying.

Too bad the manga sales is low because young people don't like soap drama story

Running away together ending would be so awesome. But for whatever reason I feel morally incorrect endings are never allowed to be published. And given how pro asian japan is (aka your parents are always right) I reallllllly doubt this would happen. There are SO many plots ruined just because of this.

Seems like this is being axed, I don't doubt that we are going to get a sound conclusion for the main story. But I doubt that we will wrap up every other character story line in that time frame, at least in a complete and satisfying way. I think this could've stretch out another 6-10 more chapters at least to give time to explore and dive deeper into the themes of the plot, but I gest this is better than non.

@daniel345 i think it was axed due to corona. Authors have 3 simultaneous publications in other magazines and they are desperate for remote assistants.

If chapters get extra pages, then it will get nicely concluded, in spite of this having either a good end or a downer one.

Anticipating for the ending!

While Haru's problems with her dad is worth a story, I think people care more about how the main couple can have their happy ending. To be honest, having it ended like this is better than being on hiatus for years without a conclusion.

Also, it feels like the title is about the conversation between Haru and that one middle school girl. The latter blamed everything on her for losing her "good behaved pet" and Haru just cooly told her that he has never been whatever pet she imagined. He's just himself from start to finish(Or maybe Haru flexed on the other one about how she knows his house idk)
