EDIT - going back to ch.1 the very first pages we see that she knows she's going to die soon. Was Sakuya the one that got the snake statue installed so that she would be able to be with Tsubaki, because she knew?

my question is how did she know she would "die" in first place
and to begin with mc's bad luck and also the way she saved him every time, as if she knows they were going to happen (like moving him away from falling flower pot or shielding him from baseball)
