My guess Nanase hides somewhere and keep following Shinra

Seeing how Shinra proves he is not guilty so easy and just proving that the time did not match reminds me of Ace Attorney

As always, Katau Motohiro didn’t do enough research. The type of stainless steel used in making knives aren’t enough ferromagnetic to be pulled, even by a strong magnet.

@Confetti It was an ancient knife, so I don't think it uses stainless steel. If it's made of iron, it's probably magnetic enough, I think.

@Confetti Ancient knives typically have higher ferromagnetic metal content than most modern knives. I'm not sure if anyone's experimentally tested their magnetism, but iron knives do exist:
