Idk just my 2cents on chap 145
Haha

But the culprit can’t use the rings anyway if the officials said the rings are stolen and any attempt of forcing authority with them would be of naught...

Last chapter was kinda awkward for me with how overtly racist the British and Americans were to Shinra. Not saying racism doesn't exist, but it's highly unlikely to come from an intellectual. And more importantly, it will never be that explicit with phrases like "Anglo Saxon", "East Asian", "Slant Eyes", etc. Its 2020 you can lose your job for shit like that. Feels like a very poor attempt to portray racial discrimination towards Asians in Western society. Real discrimination would just be like Universities capping number of Asians while pushing for more Blacks. Or passing promotions for Asians to be managers. Or like Jeremy Lin in NBA how he just wasn't "one of the boys" like all the other homies that can wear dreads.

So curious where this Japanese author got his intel from. Usually his portrayal of other cultures is pretty spot on.

@jesustakethewheel I haven't read that far, but I heard even in early 2000 racism towards Asian is quite severe. (This is an old manga right? haha)

I remember hearing someone's experience/nostalgia in radio even Asians get quite a harsh racism in Australia on early 2000. she said the racism was quite harsh, at some spesific event she had to run off from the bus or something even an Indian lady also terrified & following her (I'm not sure India also get affected too or not)

But yeah 2020 is much better place

Thank you Irregular Scans for scanlating this masterpiece. I genuinely enjoy reading this series & loves the main characters interactions. I will definitely miss them.
My favourite case would be chapter 61 - A Day Of Mr. Fuyuki. From time to time I always reread that chapter and the plot twist/ meltdown always gets me.

Once again, thanks for escorting us to the wunderkammer.

Omggg, the last chapter! Thank you for the hard work all this time, Irregular Scans!
I'm sad to let this series go. In fact, I love this mooore than Q.E.D. Even the great conclusion towards the ending.

Thank you Irregular Scans for the efforts in C.M.B. and Q.E.D and for the superb translation for something so technical. Now my life is a void without this series, wish there were more like it. Please continue your efforts to translate more of these gems.

Good story 8.5/10 but this story is definitely either isn't earth or is the future since there's no language barrier I can see even though they've traveled to various parts of the world. I like the murder mysteries but why does a guy interested in history have more murders then QED manga?
its probably one of those stupid author forsights,
literally no isekai ever addresses the language barrier except for the spider isekai, i guess jobless reincarnation as well
