@Angry_Panda BBQ sauce has become here an option for when you're tired of eating some pre-cooked food people just add some to keep eating without getting bored. Just like some other people do with soy sauce. Personally, I avoid having pre-cooked food if it has to be so low-quality.
Who the hell uses blood as sauce? Psychopaths-nya? :shamihuh: :shamihuh:

Blood in Food isn't as weird as it seems, tbh.
Blood Sausage is a standard food and there are some other dishes in here that use it.
Makes sense, really, back then people really looked into using all parts of the animal and Blood is nutritious.

Absolutely, I totally agree! It’s a practical and nutritious way to use all parts of the animal. Once you get past the initial “ew” factor, some of these dishes aren’t actually as bad as they seem.

Here we literally use every single part of most animals you can find in the buchery or the chicken shop. Odd parts as eyes or feet, but of course organs. My favourite among all is undoubtely the brain: you simply need to make bite-sized portions with your fingers, batter it with salt, flour and egg and fry it until it becomes slightly brown (just the right amount of crispness) before plating it.

My favourite among all is undoubtely the brain: you simply need to make bite-sized portions with your fingers, batter it with salt, flour and egg and fry it until it becomes slightly brown (just the right amount of crispness) before plating it.
Wow, that sounds intense but also kind of amazing? I totally get the appeal though when prepared right, things like that can be surprisingly tasty. Fried brain with that crisp coating… I can see why it’s a favorite

Well, you know, some people prefer fried cheese, like the one they serve on a Foster's Hollywood... they're called casuals.

Haven't myself tried organs yet, they are not usually sold, and they are more considered "eccentric food" nowadays
Not really opposed to trying them, also not really going out of my way to do that is what I'm doing.

Some pet peeve that I have with some manga volumes is that they put the color pages in a grayscale filter, probably to fit in with the rest of the manga. This just ruins the point of color pages, since they're supposed to be special. Plus, they just look bad.

No it's not to fit with the rest of the manga but just because printing colors is more expensive that black ink.
Manga was drawn in black and white because it was less expensive.

You can find the colored versions in luxurious edition in Japan, but not every series have them.

I like heart, they are different from other organ.

The texture and taste. Maybe because it's different kind of muscle.

I also like chicken intestine that been fried, it's crispy and all if you able to clean it properly.
