Well, that's one of the last decade's meme I found saved on my WhattsApp cloud I mentioned before, so of course it's not a creation of mine. But yes, Mahouka is (still?) a recurring joke for "the greatest incest romance where nothing happens after 20 volumes in the light novel" the last time I read about it. Regrettably, there are more series where nothing happens and people still buy them...
Japanese romance writing really impresses me. You can see characters being declared a true love made in heaven after simply exchanging "hello," or characters literally searching for a room for 30-40 years and literally needing an American film to just make them a little more sincere. I'm not even talking about friendship that looks like love and love that looks like friendship, lmao.

In Spain the main mobile app is WhatsApp, then Telegram and the following ones have a really short userbase. When it comes to something other than just messaging, then yes, (young) people use Discord, but Facebook has been on decline for years. Among minors, there are other social media platforms that are popular, but I have no idea what they're called. And if you simply want to waste time, stalk or use as a dating site there's Instagram. More or less that's how it works here.
I've always found it interesting to hear about Facebook's dwindling audience in the West, because in my region, using Facebook is like trying to speak Japanese on the street in New York City while pretending you don't understand English.

Yeah, they tend to make the heroines act as if they have NEVER in their life had a guy be nice to them.

So the first generico-man to come along and say "Hi how are you?", makes them climax buckets right then and there.

Japanese fiction is generally very melodramatic, if you ask me. I know this type of storytelling is popular in Japanese culture, but I still remember one manga about friendship that used a comparison of trust with lovers, without any irony or shipbait. Just ask any girl you know if they would raise an eyebrow if their best friend told them she trusted them as a lover.

We use whatsapp a lot here in PR too, lots of official places demand for work.
After all, WhatsApp is owned by Facebook. Ultimately, it's the same company with a different app

Of all the TomoLife screenshots I've seen, you're the first person to make sports team gijinkas(?)
and I've seen a lot of screenshots.
I still had a lot of mii space left so im planning a separate "island" of nfl teams :pacman:

Was hoping they'd fall in love and pleased it happened almost immediately. Obviously I made them talk about the Super Bowl

Have you noticed that it's more enjoyable to watch anime after manga than to read manga after anime?
I care more about the story, and the habit of most modern anime of skipping context pissed me off to the point of getting me to quit watching anime all together. I only watch anime original stuff now, or if I hear that the adaptation is loyal to the source.

Jiggly boobs? Nice looking fights? Could not give a single fuck.

Gimme the story as it was meant to be, then we'll talk.

Kinda yeah.
Good thing I finished Lord of Mysteries volume 1 before season 1 ended. Since the animation skipped over some info, reading the novel and manhua before watching it made the story easier to understand cuz I just had to focus on the pretty animation and sounds. But man, does it have a problem with pacing.

Hoping for a better experience with Tensura after reading part of the LN and manga.
Not sure why but I think knowing the story makes the animation easier to understand so you can appreciate the animation and be more relaxed.

I think there are some anime which improve upon the manga as well.

It's Meta, the alien boy only created Facebook before buying the rest of apps. I'd prefer not using anything touched by him, but people don't make it easy. The difference is that messages are encrypted and I'm not bombarded with ads nor scams.

I have no problem reading manga after watching the anime adaptation, but manga adaptations from an anime? Unless the manga is better than the original source or intentionally differs (anthologies, doujinshi, etc.), I find it a waste of time.
