I played the game but I wonder if it's even needed from what I've seen from the trailer. It seems like an anime original with all the new characters and scenes, is it adapting stuff from the manga adaption?

it's not even 'so bad it's good' territory, like Ex-Arm. it's just bad

Guess I'll watch an episode or two soon.
