Probably not, I haven't read it myself but from what I've heard from other people, it's not very good.

This seems to be all manga original stuff. It looks like it spans 3 different manga with a new cast of characters. But it is after the Higurashi main story.

I keep hearing people say even the DEEN anime sucked, but I thought it was good for what it was. Though I would recommend the visual novel over it, it's been quite fun seeing the cast playing games and dying.
