sorry, i thought the manga side of the forums was confirmed to be scrapped, it's just me being stupid as usual

All I want is for the forums for manga discussion to be untouched, the new system isn't working.

i hope the UI is good. also curious about what'll happen to everything that's already on Xenforo if the title and chapter comments are migrated. will the comments be 'copied' over so they're still accessible here on Xenforo? will message counts, reactions, and reaction scores be copied over too? if they are, would that mean only messages in chapter/title comments would apply to our mainsite message and reaction score counts? there are already reactions on the mainsite comments. will these reactions be tallied and added to our current Xenforo reaction scores if/when those scores (attached to the migrated messages) are copied over, or will there be a 'reset' where only the mainsite reactions using the system already in place count towards the mainsite's reaction leaderboard (if one exists)? i'm assuming that there won't be any perpetual syncing with the current Xenforo messages/reactions too. once all of the current title/chapter comments are migrated, will there no longer be an option to create title/chapter comments using Xenforo? i would assume not, unless there actually are plans to sync Xenforo and mainsite comments (but i doubt there are, it doesn't seem very realistic).

more elaboration is still needed. the statement sounds like it implies that the manga title/chapter subforums in the Manga forum will simply cease to exist (as those subforums will be moved over to the mainsite comment system). will all of those existing Xenforo threads be completely deleted, 'deleted' (as in, hidden from everyone but mods, and the messages and reactions inside are voided from the leaderboards), or will they continue to exist (while possibly being locked for further commenting)?

i'm overall still very against the decision, but not in a 'change is bad' kind of way. i do understand that it's the job of leaders/innovators/managers to create or evolve products or ideas before the ignorant masses even know that they desire those products/ideas, but i'm not sure that'll apply here (as in, the new comments may very well be shit and undesired). even if the communication surrounding this decision was handled perfectly it wouldn't make it a positive development.
