Yep, usually the characters are stuck in 4-koma form, but when the author goes all out, it's a treat.

But in my opinion, what makes this manga stand out the most is how much love and care the author put into all the little references he incorporates into some of the chapters. Like for example, there was a full chapter talking about modding in games, and one of the things that the characters references is how some foreigner in America actually modded Portal 2 to propose to his soon-to-be wife, which is real.
