Persona? Not at all, 3 and 4 might be a bit harder to get into since it misses modern conveniences (if you want to play the original versions) but 5 is very accessible in a good way.
Is that so? Then I will try checking them out on the high seas.

The Persona and Shin Megami games always intimidated me, with how everyone says they are like the "Dark Souls" of turn based games.
If I recall, they are referring to the old Persona games like 1 and 2. 3 - 5 are much more easier, especially 5. Shin Megami on the other hand is pretty hard last time I checked.

Always aiming for the hag. Hag maxxing in persona is great. And the grooming there is insane.

i can't say yet as i've just started Persona 3R myself, but Shin Megami Tensei looks a little hard to get into. tbh this is the first time i'm really branching out into turn-based jrpgs that aren't for babies (Pokemon), though i guess i've also played the original Final Fantasy games a forever ago

FF 7 then... Suikoden, a good classic game and will be having an anime soon or Chrono Trigger.
