I think it's a funny question, what's you guy's take on it ?
cause, in my opinion, I think the baby would get trapped inside the golden mother. In all the versions of the story, it's made pretty obvious that his powers only stop once an individual item is converted, regardless of what is also touching the item (which is why for example, the entire world/all the air isn't transformed into gold)
as for which parts of the baby would remain unaffected ? I'm unsure.
I guess you can also imagine that the same would be true for parasites.

It'd turn Gold cuz It's still attached to the mim I think, cuz the Fetus still relies on being attached to the mim so yeah kinda parasite-like, but even more likely to be turned into Gold too since It's still fully made of mom-matter and attached to her
