I also like reading romance. When I'm reading in real time it feels like I'm living alongside the characters. When I binge read it's harder to remember the story's events. Of course it's just personal preference

i agree but only for weekly or biweekly releases mainly. when releases are longer than that i'll sometimes have no idea wtf is happening anymore (except chainsaw man, i always have no clue wtf is happening there)

Pacing on romance definitely keeps you on your toes, especially if its the drama kind... That part I get, but for every other manga genre I definitely prefer having a stable period between each chapter. Helps air out things and not wear them out yk
