Internal clock did the 'it's three hours before your alarm goes off, have fun being awake now' thing this morning (this happens once or twice a week).

Got back to sleep about an hour before the alarm... only to be woken back up twenty minutes later by a garbage truck emptying the dumpster in the alley.

So I'm penciling in nap time on my meeting schedule early this afternoon.

Not sure about those shelves - records weigh a lot per linear foot, and long shelves like that scare me. The ones I use, and that seem to be most widely used among collectors who don't want to pay for custom units, are Ikea Kallax. This is what my office looks like, with about 3/4 of my collection - the last quarter is in the living room (also note my spirit animals Popuko and Pipimi on top of the filing cabinet):

Lenovo ThinkVision - I think it's a 22"? I have two laptops, each with an external monitor, so plenty of screen real estate to work (or not) on.

Neither is particularly high-spec - they're business machines. I think both are i7's with 8GB memory and 1TB drives.
