another things is as easy as defending their territory, after all human are pretty big and comparable to mid size shark. They feel threaten with you around, thinking you might take their territory and seize their hunting spot

Of course, you only need to put some real dinosaurs around (politicians) plus a race of T-rexes. Maybe the sharks are actually trying to eat dinosaurs but confuse normal politicians with normal folks that disguise themselves as dinos.
