I don't have friends. This is the only place I really talk to people. It's hard to go back to being alone, even if the alternative is being seen as weird in a group. I don't take it seriously, really, but it's not like I have much else to compare it to.

I don't have friends. This is the only place I really talk to people. It's hard to go back to being alone, even if the alternative is being seen as weird in a group. I don't take it seriously, really, but it's not like I have much else to compare it to.

it can be difficult to make friends in real life if you're already out of school or didn't immediately start drinking yourself into a coma with your college roommates after moving in. my advice is to just walk up to people and do the friend dance. you never think it'll work until it does.

Whenever I go onto one of these niche platforms and start talking to people, even if they don't really understand me, I feel a little less alone. Eventually the initial welcome wears thin and I gradually lose interest before hopping to another platform to repeat the process. I think I'm just mentally ill.
