I am always afraid of new users. A while ago a comment section of a certain manga I was following, was invaded by yuri haters. The series itself isn't yuri but in a past chapter thread I made a comment about hoping the author draws a yuri series. The comment had enough supportive reactions. I forgot about my comment and repeated the same in a future chapter's thread and there were people hating in the comments. I assumed some other community/outlet for the series burned down elsewhere, sending refugees to MD. Now if MD burns down, if it can recover there might be new users who actually prefer the moral codes older users hated. Today it is controversy with minor characters, give and take a few months and I won't be able to even make comments like "just bang already" in a manga with adult characters.

Oh god the forums becoming something similar to pandemic-era twitter would be HELL, i'm already in a few servers that are kinda like that in a sense, but I do not want ANYTHING related to this site be found to be connected to my other socials. What if a user from one of those servers comes and finds me here? Do you KNOW how bad that would be?? I'm scared
